320 Series

Texmate NZ 320 programmable controllers provide effective and affordable solutions for many control and monitoring applications. Up to four analogue outputs are available for retransmission or control, and there are a wide variety of input modules available with up to four channels.

The remote display kit separates the display from the controller base, and is usually used to optimise mounting when space is restricted.

Input


Your 320 programmable controller can be used with ONE internal module from our extensive index of Analogue Input Modules. Up to 4 input channels are accepted.

This unit also comes standard with 3 function pins which can be configured as digital inputs if required.

Output

Select a maximum of ONE option only from each section in the table below. Your 320 series base controller does not include any outputs by default.

Analogue Output (isolated)
AIC 1 x 4-20mA
AIV 1 x 0-10V
Analogue outputs are used to retransmit process variables to PLCs and SCADA systems. They can be used to control outputs, (such as valves, motor drives and chart recorders) or to add a transmitter function to the controller.
 
Relay Outputs
OR12 2 x 10A form C relays
OR32 2 x 5A form A relays
OR34 4 x 5A form A relays
OR36 6 x 5A form A relays
The relay function is used to regulate outputs or to set off an alarm. All are at 250V AC.
 
Serial Output
S2 1 x RS232 (RJ11/screw) + cable
S4 1 x RS485 (RJ11/screw) + cable
Serial outputs are used to set up and calibrate the controller using a PC. They can also be used to drive external printers and modems, communicate to PC's/PLCs and retrieve logged data. Texmate NZ serial output is compatible with SCADA systems.

Memory

Your 320 series base controller does not include any memory by default. Data-logging and real-time clock will be enabled when you opt for this memory upgrade.

Memory
RTC-1024 1,024KB memory upgrade + data-logging and real-time clock
Data-logger logs up to 4 channels at 4,000 samples. Real-time clock has a 5 year lithium battery backup and displays Year:Month:Date:Hour:Minute:Second.
